This site is designed as an interactive resource for Inuktitut language and culture curriculum areas for students in Nunavut. It is meant to spark interest and provide a starting point in class to introduce students to the complex Inuit traditional wayfinding skills. The learning links section embraces the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Principles developed by the Nunavut Department of Education. This holistic curriculum has four main curricular strands – Nunavusiutit, Iqqaqqaukkaringniq, Uqausiliriniq and Aulajaaqtut. These, along with the six cross-curricular competencies are detailed in the Learning Links resources for teachers. The learning links resources for teachers include both Inuktitut and English versions.
